Interleukin Genetics Names Ramon W. Mohanlal, M.D. as Chief Medical Officer07/11/2005 INTERLEUKIN GENETICS NAMES RAMON W. MOHANLAL, M.D. AS CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER Waltham, MA, July 11, 2005 – Interleukin Genetics, Inc. (OTCBB: ILGN) announced today that it has named Ramon W. Mohanlal, M.D., Ph.D., MBA, a physician with specialist training in internal medicine and cardiology, and with a strong drug development background to the post of Chief Medical Officer. Just prior to joining Interleukin Genetics, Dr. Mohanlal spent more than three years as a Medical Director at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, Inc, where he was responsible for developing its anti-inflammatory drug portfolio. He has also served as Director of Research at Syncytium, Inc. and worked previously for Pharmacia and GlaxoWellcome in positions of increasing seniority in various clinical development programs.
