ILI Reports On Annual Stockholder Meeting And Announces New Director

INTERLEUKIN GENETICS REPORTS ON ANNUAL STOCKHOLDER MEETING AND ANNOUNCES NEW DIRECTOR

Waltham, MA, June 14, 2006 - Interleukin Genetics (AMEX: ILI) today reported results of its Annual Meeting of Stockholders and the appointment of a new member to the Company’s Board of Directors. During its Annual Meeting, Stockholders of the Company ratified the election of Grant Thornton LLP as the Company’s auditors. Additionally, Interleukin today announced that Dianne E. Bennett was appointed as a member of the Board of Directors of Interleukin and will serve on the audit, compensation and nominating committees of the Board of Directors. Ms. Bennett succeeds William J. Viveen, Jr., as a member of the Interleukin Board of Directors. Both Ms. Bennett and Mr. Viveen were elected by Interleukin’s strategic corporate partner, Alticor Inc.

Dianne E. Bennett is the Director of Administration of Alticor Inc., a company engaged in the principle business, through its affiliates, of offering products, business opportunities, and manufacturing and logistics services in more than 80 countries and territories worldwide. Ms. Bennett has been an employee of the Alticor family of companies for over 25 years in positions that include Supervisor of Internal Audit, Manager of International Finance, Manager of Affiliate Support, Sr. Manager of Corporate/North American Accounting and Director of the Program Management Office. Ms. Bennett holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Aquinas College and a Master’s in Business Administration from Western Michigan University.
