Interleukin Genetics Regains Compliance with OTCBB Requirements

INTERLEUKIN GENETICS REGAINS COMPLIANCE WITH OTCBB REQUIREMENTS

WALTHAM, MA – JULY 7, 2005 – Interleukin Genetics, Inc. (OTCBB: ILGN) today announced that it has been informed by the NASD that the Company has been found to satisfy the requirements for the continued eligibility of its common stock to be quoted on the OTCBB.  As a result, the hearing scheduled for July 14, 2005 to hear the Company’s appeal of an earlier determination that the common stock was no longer eligible for quotation has been canceled.  The Company’s stock symbol on the OTCBB has been returned to “ILGN”.
